Study Auto-Archival
DoReveal automatically archives studies 120 days (approximately 4 months) after they are created. This policy helps us reduce ongoing analysis and storage costs, allowing us to pass those savings on to customers through lower pricing.
Important: The 120-day archival policy begins taking effect on September 15, 2026.
Before a Study Is Archived
- DoReveal provides advance notice before a study is archived.
- 15 days before the archival date, an Archiving Soon notification will appear in the app.
- Click the notification to see the scheduled archival date.
- This gives you time to review the study and download any data you want to keep before it is archived.
- If you need help exporting your data, please contact DoReveal support.
What Happens When a Study Is Archived?
Once a study is archived:
- It will no longer be accessible through the DoReveal app.
- Your data is not immediately deleted.
- The study is retained in low-cost cold storage for an additional 8 months.
- After the additional 8-month period, the study and its data will be automatically deleted.
