Editing Transcripts

Even with highly accurate AI transcription, occasional errors can occur - especially with industry-specific terms or poor audio quality. That’s why Reveal now allows you to edit transcripts manually, so your data is always clean and accurate before analysis.

Edit Transcript Text

  1. Open a Study
  2. Click View Transcript for the interview you want to edit. This opens the transcript panel on the right.
  3. Click Edit Transcript link in the right panel.
  4. Make Text Changes
    • Click Edit next to any transcript segment.
    • Correct typos or wording as needed.
    • Click Save to apply the change.
  5. Regenerate Analysis After Editing (Optional)
    • If your edit is minor (for example, a simple typo), you can save without regenerating analysis.
    • If the edit is material and may impact insights or coding:
      • Check Regenerate Analysis
      • Save your changes
Note: Regenerating analysis updates all grids. It’s best to complete all transcript edits before regenerating.
