Once you have created a study in Reveal, the next step is to add your interviews. This process is simple and flexible, allowing you to upload recordings or transcripts in multiple formats.
Adding an Interview
To upload an interview, click on the "Add an Interview" link. Here, you can upload audio and video recordings or transcripts. If you use Zoom for recordings, you can also provide a Zoom link, along with the password if required, and Reveal will automatically retrieve the file.
Supported Languages
On the right side of the upload page, you’ll see a list of the best-performing and fastest-supported languages. To access the full list of supported languages, uncheck the "Auto Detect Language" option, and you’ll see a comprehensive selection to choose from.
Data Privacy & Security
Reveal prioritizes data security and privacy. Here’s a quick overview of our data policies:
No AI Model Training – Your data is not used to train any AI models.
Trusted Services – We leverage industry-leading platforms like Amazon and Microsoft for secure and reliable processing.
Encryption & Restricted Access – All data is encrypted, and access is restricted to only authorized individuals.
Uploading Your Files
Uploading an interview is straightforward:
Drag and drop your file into the upload area, or click to select a file from your device.
If using Zoom, paste the recording URL and include the password if necessary.
Improving Transcription Accuracy
The transcription service used by Reveal is one of the most accurate in the world. However, certain factors, such as echo in an in-person focus group or overlapping voices, may impact accuracy. If your recording quality is less than ideal, consider unchecking the "Auto Detect Number of Speakers" option and manually entering the correct number of speakers. This ensures a more precise transcription.
With these features, Reveal ensures a smooth and secure process for adding and managing your research interviews, allowing you to focus on extracting valuable insights.
