You can import Activity based studies from Recollective. DoReveal will automatically weave together data across all activities. It will also automatically transcribe any audio/video response and add them to the appropriate place in the conversations.

There are a couple of key requirements:

1. In your Recollective interface, click Admin

2. Click Transcripts at the bottom of the admin menu. This will bring up the following choices:

3. To download acitivities data, which include participant responses, click "Activities".  You'll see the following options (and some more). Please select the values as shows in the screen-shot:
a) Output: Excel
b) Format: Responses Only

The remaining values can be selected as per your needs. And then click "Generate Transcripts". This will bring up a processing card, and then an option to download transcripts. A zip file with excel files - one for each activity will get downloaded.

4. If you have Audio/Video responses as well,  Click "< Back" in the Admin menu

Then Click "Videos"

Then click "Generate Archive"

This will download another zip file with the videos in them.

Now that we have the data exported, let's prepare it for import into DoReveal.

If you do not have any videos, then you can skip this step and go directly to import. If you do have videos, open the two zip files we downloaded in previous steps. They will create two folder on your computer. Move the folder that has all the video files into the one that has the excel files. The final structure would look something like the following. Ofcoruse the exact number of files and folders will vary based on your study:

Now Zip this top folder that contains all of these files.

Now you can simply upload the zip file in DoReveal. Click "Add Interviews" in your study, then click "Recollective Import" and then drop the zip file.

Depending on the amount of data, this could take a few minutes. 

You'll start to see the analysis grid getting populated. You can continue to add Research questions for analysis.
