Personalize AI Output Writing Style





AI-generated insights are powerful, but the default tone and voice may not match how your team writes reports. DoReveal lets you define a team writing style so AI outputs better reflect your preferred voice, tone, and formatting.

What Is Team Writing Style?


Team writing style allows you to:

  • Control tone, voice, and formatting of AI outputs
  • Match AI responses to your reporting standards
  • Reduce manual rewriting of AI-generated content


The writing style can be applied to:
  • AI Chat responses
  • Executive summaries and reports

Set a Team Writing Style Manually


  1. From the main navigation, go to Teams.
  2. Select your team.
  3. Click Writing Style.
  4. Use the text area to describe your preferred style.
  5. Click Save.
  6. The style is now available for use across the team.

Apply Writing Style in AI Chat

  1. Open a Study and go to your study and open AI Chat.
  2. Type any analysis prompt (for example, Identify key themes).
  3. Toggle Use Team Writing Style on
  4. Run the Analysis

The AI response will follow your defined writing style.

Create a Writing Style from Existing Documents


Instead of writing style instructions manually, you can extract them from your existing reports.

  1. Go to Teams → Writing Style.
  2. Upload a previously created reports
  3. Click Upload and Extract.

    • DoReveal analyzes the document to identify:

      • Voice (e.g., professional, consultative)
      • Tone (e.g., measured, persuasive)
      • Vocabulary and structure
      • and more

  4. Review and Save


Use Writing Style in Reports

  1. Navigate to Reports in your study.
  2. Click Generate/Regenerate Executive Summary.
  3. Enable Team Writing Style
  4. Select the desired summary structure.
  5. Generate the Report
The executive summary is created using your team’s writing style.

Notes & Best Practices

  • Writing style personalization is qualitative and iterative.
  • You may need to fine-tune instructions over time.
  • This feature helps reduce manual edits but does not eliminate them entirely.
  • Styles apply at the team level and can be updated anytime.
